Our team

Principal Dentist: Sumita Karia

Dr Sumita Karia qualified at Kings College London in 1983, and has been practice principal since October 1996. She spent five years in British Columbia, Canada from 1991-1996 where she had a very successful general dental practice. She particularly enjoys cosmetic and restorative dentistry, and also enjoys visiting patients in their home environment, where they cannot attend our practice.

Dentist: Tracey Dalby

Tracey was born and brought up in High Wycombe. She qualified at Guys’ Hospital, London in 1996. Tracey has worked as an associate dentist at Crendon Dental since October 1997.

Tracey enjoys the variety of general dental practice and particularly enjoys helping people to overcome their worries regarding dental treatment, trying to make appointments as stress free as possible.

Tracy is currently studying for an MSc in Dental Public Health at King’s College, London. When she is not working or studying, she is an active member of her local member of her local church where she helps run the youth group for 11 to 14 year olds.

Dentist: Jelena Mihailova

Jelena qualified in Latvia in 2006, and has been an Associate at Crendon Dental since April 2008. Her special interests are Periodontology and Endodontics. She is also fluent in Russian and Latvian. She also enjoys treating children and educating them about preventative dentistry.

Practice Manager: Laura Scott

Laura has been the Practice Manager since October 2007, and prides on the welcoming, friendly atmosphere that our professional practice provides. She qualified as a Dental Nurse in May 2009, and is currently studying for a qualification in Sedation Nursing and in Business Management.

Senior Dental Chairside Assistant: Sarah Munday

Sarah has been Dr Karia’s nurse since November 1998. Having obtained her nursing qualification in 2003, she has a warm, friendly and comforting approach towards all the patients and is currently studying for a qualification in Customer Care.
