New Patients
Whether you are new to the area or simply looking for better quality dental care, we would love to meet you. We are always pleased to welcome new patients to our practice and are happy to accommodate adults and children alike.
For the convenience of our patients, we offer a late surgery every Monday and Saturday morning appointments on request.
Highly tailored dental care for all
When you register with Crendon Dental Centre we will ask you for a thorough dental, social and general medical history, including details of any medication you are taking. This isn’t just us being nosy, it’s so we can provide the most appropriate treatment for you. Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first appointment in order to register and complete the various formalities before being seen by the dentist.
During your first 30 minute appointment, we will undertake a thorough dental assessment and take x-rays, if necessary. We also check for oral cancer as standard, as early detection is vital. The dentist may use an intra-oral camera (with your permission) to aid discussion and help demonstrate any issues. This will allow us to ascertain the condition of your teeth and supporting tissues, together with your disease risk, so we can formulate a detailed treatment plan that will include a full breakdown of costs.
Remember we also welcome children (see Children’s Dentistry) so bring along your little ones for regular check-ups and tooth-friendly tips.
Your safety
Please be assured that we undertake all necessary precautions to ensure patient and staff safety. We follow recommended safety guidelines regarding radiation (we now offer digital x-rays to reduce exposure), disposable items, instrument sterilisation and the disposal of waste. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have about your safety and protection.
